Agile Facility Management
Controlled Air Inc. recognizes the importance of controlling costs. Today, building performance information is more readily available through recent advances in both technology and energy performance analytics. However, information alone will not help building owners save money or energy.
To make true informed change, enhanced feedback and well-designed programs that successfully inform, engage, empower, and motivate are required.
Controlled Air Inc. has designed an innovative strategy called The Agile Facility Management (AFM) System, designed specifically to deliver informative and utilizable information for commercial and industrial building owners. Our main goal is to educate building owners on the true cost of ownership, as it pertains to their energy.
Controlled Air Inc. wants to help our customers leverage technology and our experience to dramatically reduce energy budgets; make energy services related decisions that are good for the bottom line; achieve operational excellence in their portfolios; and distinguish themselves as environmental leaders.
You can't controls what you don't measure

We evaluate buildings, generate in-depth mechanical engineering and financial data, and simplify the findings. These findings are used to educate our clients, giving the ability to make data driven decisions that are effective in substantially reducing budgets and increasing building energy performance.
The primary focus of the AFM System is to reduce energy services budgets, and implement the right Energy Conservation Measures (ECM)s for building owners with the highest ROI, and greatest positive impact.
The backbone of our AFM System is Real Time Energy Management (RTEM). Real Time Energy Management (RTEM) leverages modern control technology (AI) and human, expert technical services to drive sustainability goals for energy services budgets in commercial/ industrial buildings.
The AFM - RTEM strategy evaluates a buildings energy system including: electric meters in 15-minute intervals on a continuous basis for 24-7; historical data and building performance; and then provides education, transparency and accountability.
Benefits
- Benchmark your building’s historical and current energy profile.
- Increase mechanical systems performance and minimize risk by mitigating energy price volatility, equipment breakdowns, and outages.
- Boost your bottom line by eliminating energy waste.
- Free up capital to use on necessary repairs.
- Identify your electric meter Peak Demand conditions and implement solutions.
- Educate, train and assist facility operations staff.
- Create a competitive advantage and differentiate yourself in the market as a sustainability leader to customers, employees, investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Planning and budget insight for HVAC Capital improvement by ranking energy system equipment replacements based on the greatest ROI. Identify all applicable utility incentive programs.
- Evaluate occupant comfort issues and provide efficient solutions.
- Improve workforce retention and talent acquisition in a competitive recruiting market.
Controlled Air Inc. is offering a complimentary consultation to all potential AFM - RTEM clients. The consultation includes a cash flow report and a comprehensive RTEM overview and plan for the prospective building.
Our goal is to evaluate your electric meters historical usage to help educate you on exactly how much energy waste is produced by your facility. We will complete an in-depth Electric Meter Interval Report, using basic information and past utility bills ($3000 dollar value).
Returns on investment of under a year are typical and readily achievable. The initial investment and risks are low, and the rewards are enormous both from an increased comfort and an economic standpoint.
next steps
You will need to provide us information about your utility useage to get started with the risk-free, no obligation Electric Meter report. Contact us to find out details.
Upon completion, we will contact you to discuss the findings and educate you on your cost of ownership reduction opportunities.
Eliminating energy waste has become a focus worldwide, and we aim to work together with building owners to reduce energy waste in the Connecticut, Massachusetts and Road Island areas.
To begin taking advantage of this opportunity, we offer a complimentary consultation and energy utilization benchmark.
